R&D partner search for software development- and/or maintenance for real time systems
Background:
A Global supplier of Telecom services is looking for an R&D partner in Ukraine. The partner/supplier should be able to support the Client’s R&D operations with software development- and/or maintenance assignments for real time systems up to about 20-50 people within the next two years.
The requirements:
The potential R&D partner must fulfill the following requirements
- Should have a sound business today and operate profitably.
- The minimum number of headcount is 100.
- The minimum number of headcount dedicated to development of real time systems and/or Software engineering is 10.
- The potential partner should be able to work in English
The potential partner must have competence in the following areas:
Development of software for real time systems
- Time critical software used in telecom, process control, or datacom applications.
- Software often embedded in proprietary (not off the shelf) hardware and is using real time operating systems such as VxWorks, pSOS, OSE, Embedded Linux, Carrier Grade Linux, Symbian OS, proprietary ones.
- Capability to develop software that interface hardware is often needed.
- Typical programming languages: C, C++ … and proprietary ones.
- If possible, supply representative examples of assignments done; type, size, customer(-type)
