A conference devoted to the forthcoming Ukrainian Outsourcing Forum 2007 (UOF) took place in «LIGABusinessInform» press-centre. This year it will be held for the fourth time already and is scheduled to take place on November 1-2. As Victor Maznyuk, the president of the Ukrainian Hi-Tech Initiative alliance, that is one of the organizers of the forum, noted in his statement, the basic task of UOF is popularization of our country in the world market of IT-outsourcing.

The forum develops successfully, in particular, 95 companies from Ukraine, 17 from the USA and 8 from India took direct part in it in 2006. Because of constantly growing number of speakers and seminars, it was decided to refuse this year the service of «Ukrainian house», where the forum was held last 2 years, and to conduct it in more spacious «International exhibition center» in Brovarsky boulevard in Kiev.

It is planned to extend an international constituent. According to organizers, an agreement with Belarusian association of information technologies developers «Infopark» about creation of a separate section for the companies from this country has already been achieved. Negotiations on the given question are also being carried on with the Russian colleagues.

There is also an intention to carry out this year the first scale research of the Ukrainian outsourcing services market, the results of which will be promulgated within the framework of UOF-2007. Meanwhile there are only approximate numbers, and they were communicated by the participants of the press-conference to the journalists. Thus, for example, according to the data of Victor Maznyuk, about thousand firms and 25-30 thousand people work in this field in Ukraine nowadays.
